The Logitech K750 wireless solar keyboard is an easy to use keyboard that is wider than most conventional laptop keyboards, which can make typing simpler for those with larger fingers.

Like many calculators, it is solar powered, which means that you will never have to buy batteries.

The Logitech K750 uses a conventional Windows keyboard, with keys labelled for Windows operations. It will work with OS X, but you will have to know which keys to use.

The keyboard is completely flat, so it is not the best keyboard for someone suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, who would be better off with an ergonomic keyboard. The Logitech 750 wireless solar keyboard does have two small kickstands so you can angle the keyboard slightly upwards, which some might find more comfortable.

A Logitech Unifying Receiver can be used to connect the Logitech K750 wireless solar keyboard. The Unifying receiver enables you to connect multiple USB devices (such as mouse and keyboard) through one small, wireless receiver, so if you have lots of USB devices, you don’t have to worry about having plugs everywhere.

The Canon EOS 60D is a sturdy DSLR camera with 18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that will allow you take loads of great pictures and videos.

The Canon EOS 60D is a sturdy DSLR camera with 18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that will allow you take loads of great pictures and videos. The bright three-inch screen, which can be adjusted to almost any angle, has over a million dots, providing an extremely sharp picture.

There is a large, bright viewfinder. The pictures themselves are of fabulous quality, providing great detail and amazingly accurate colours. The Canon EOS also allows you to take 1080p videos at 30, 25 or 24 fps, or 720p videos at 50 or 60fps. Videos are saved in MOV format. Full manual controls for the video are available, and there is a socket for plugging in an external stereo microphone.

The user interface is slightly different from that of older Canon models, so it may take you a little bit of time to get used to it. Fore example, you have to press a button in the centre of the mode dial in order to turn it.

However, once you have mastered the controls, you will be astounded by the beautiful, clear pictures and videos that you can take with the Canon EOS 60D.

The CEOL has a CD player and radio tuner. Speakers are optional and inexpensive (£70), with quality that you would expect from speakers of that price range.

If you install Airplay, which costs an extra £40, and have your CEOL connected to a network, you will see the CEOL RCD-N7 in your iTunes window, and you will be able to stream music to it.

You can also move music from your IPad, iPhone or iPod to your CEOL using the Denon Remote App. If you are not using the App, the display on the CEOL itself is very clear.

The quality of streamed music is equivalent to that of music played directly from the CD player.

The CEOL allows for USB input. There is also an integrated iPod dock, unplug and play Wi-Fi, and Ethernet networking, for hooking up to a router.

This is an all new design of screwdriver is a DIY revolution. Just like other multi-head screwdrivers you only need to carry one. But with this screwdriver you don’t have to fiddle around with all the iddy biddy heads, dropping them on the floor, behind the sofa or losing them in your toolbox.

The pump-action mechanism selects the different heads from inside the screwdriver, which is where they stay. No messing around changing heads, relying on weak magnets and failing ball bearings to hold them in place.

Just twiddle the 6-in-1 Autoloader and get screwing. Job done.

If you want to listen to music in bed without anyone else hearing it the only option was to use headphones, until now.

The Sound Asleep Pillow allows you to connect your iPod, mp3 player, TV or pretty much any sound device and you can only hear them with your head on the pillow.

The advantage of the pillow over headphones is greater comfort; you can lay any way you like to hear your favourite bedtime tunes or sounds. With headphone the only option is to lay on your back, unless you want them uncomfortably sticking in your ears or against the side of your head.

The Sound Asleep Pillow comes in standard fluffy pillow or memory foam pillow.

The iDECT iHome has been in the headlines recently as the first home phone to full embrace mobile smartphone tech.

The cordless iHome Phone and Answering machine comes with the world’s most popular open-source operating system, Android.

The handset has built in wifi so you can use the 2.8in screen to browse the web, read and send your emails and download more apps from the Android Market.

All I can say is, all my other devices are web-enabled, so why should this one escape!

Personally I’m finding this a useful little tool for the office, where we need landlines anyway so they may as well do something a little extra other than making phone calls. http://tinyurl.com/idect-ihome

Well, that’s sort of why I’m very excited about the latest ECTACO iTRAVL device for communicating with people around the world who speak different languages. For me it’s the beginning of science fiction becoming science fact, and I love it!

This translator device is said to contain some of the world’s best voice recognition software, containing thousands of words from many different languages so you can speak in the console and have it translate with a spoken word or phrase from English to Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Hebrew, Turkish and back again!

For me this is a device I’ve always wanted, you literally speak into it and it speaks back to you in whatever language you choose. It’s a great way of learning a language and it is also an invaluable tool when trying to get by in a foreign country.

As well as translating your words and phrases the device has an iHelp system with a wealth of commonly used phrases for each of the countries in its database, so you can be gracious and polite in all the different countries you visit – utilizing customary language and phrases.

There are games installed so you can learn phrases from each language, using for brushing up and passing the time on boring flights.

All the voices used are recordings of real people from each country, each with their particular accents and various nuences, speaking from a dictionary of over 70,000 words.

The iTravl 9ME also contain a fact book on all the countries in the world, with hints and tips on what to look out for and what dangers to be aware of.

As well as trips abroad the ECTACO iTRAVL NTL-9ME is ideal for impressing/helping foreign visitors, such as business people, travellers and exchange students.
